Ahi Evren Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Training and Research Hospital
Trabzon Ahi Evren Hospital is a health institution that deals with cardiovascular diseases in general.
The hospital has two blocks, one of which was opened in 1956 and serves as a pulmonology hospital. The other block served as a medical school for a while and in 2009 the hospital began providing medical services as the Ahi Evren Cardiovascular Surgery Hospital.
Since 2022 the hospital has been serving as a research hospital with a capacity of 201 beds and employs 8 professors (6 cardiologists, 2 cardiovascular surgeons) and a total of 87 physicians.
