Procurement Delegation from Tbilisi Hosted in Trabzon within the Scope of the Health Tourism HİSER Project
Within the scope of the Trabzon Health Tourism HİSER Project coordinated by the Trabzon Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a 15-member procurement delegation from Tbilisi, Georgia was hosted in Trabzon between January 16–20, 2025.
The visit was organized as a continuation of the sectoral trade mission held in Tbilisi in May 2024, aiming to promote regional healthcare institutions and foster new collaborations. During the preparatory phase, participant profiles were carefully selected, and services such as accommodation, transportation, interpretation, and B2B meeting organization were procured.
The program included site visits to local healthcare providers that benefit from the project, as well as a full day of intensive bilateral business meetings. The delegation also included the participation of Tuğberk Türkoğlu, an expert from the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Türkiye.
Feedback from the visiting companies was highly positive, and the established contacts were observed to lay the groundwork for new partnerships. No negative feedback was received throughout the program, and the importance of maintaining direct contact to ensure the sustainability of these relations was emphasized.
