Trabzon and Tbilisi Healthcare Organizations came together in Tbilisi!
Between 14-18 May 2024, a study visit was organized to Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, which is one of the most important target markets within the scope of Trabzon Health Tourism Project carried out by Trabzon Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TTSO) and supported by the Ministry of Trade within the framework of HISER projects. In addition to visits to official institutions where direct flights between Tbilisi and Trabzon are also in question, the delegation consisting of hospital, health institution and tourism agency officials operating in Trabzon with health tourism authorization certificate made various contacts in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia.
During the 4 days spent in Tbilisi, the delegation met with the Georgian Consulate of the Republic of Turkey and associations of businessmen such as GÜRTİAD and MÜSİAD and the health opportunities of Trabzon were introduced through these channels. Subsequently, 33 local companies participated in the Tbilisi B2B organization, which attracted great interest. In the organization where more than 150 business meetings were held, steps were taken towards business cooperation. Extremely positive feedback was received from 8 project beneficiary companies and all visitors who participated.
